And that's nice, but I mean, when I offer to pay for what I want, that means I want rum. Rum gets me drunk, vodka gets me buzzed and a very large headache. I just don't like most vodkas, I have yet to find a brand I really like. Mike's Hard isn't too bad, and those Smirnoff mixed ones are decent, but I just want a pint of rum and a bottle of Coke or Pepsi to myself.
Vodka makes me pee A LOT. Or at least a lot more than Rum. Mikes hard are good with a shot of tequila in it and some grenadine. I have never liked Smirnoff mixed drinks. They are too sweet/tart and mostly just blegh.
If you like root beer or creme soda, you should try rum with those. I have found that they taste a bunch better. But I like root beer and creme soda better than coke. Although no that I think of it, Pepsi does taste pretty good with rum.
